Tom McManus adds Axemen Founder to TV Show

Long time supporter of the Axemen, Tom McManus, has added Axemen founder, Spinner Howland, to the list of regular guests who will appear on his Uncensored TV Show.

Spinner has recently appeared on the show to do segments that discuss the similarities of Rugby League and American football and also some of the global venues that host some of the largest games within the sport. He and Tom also did a segment on the Invictus movie to discuss how sports are a common bond between people no matter their race, color or religion and can bring people together under a common banner. During this segment they discussed how playing for your country in international competition can give a player of any sport the ultimate feeling of achievement and how powerful a national anthem can be during the pre game.

Although Rugby League is sometimes a point of discuss on the show the main objective is to look at American Football from the eyes of current and former players and Tom achieves this through Pete "Maverick" Mitchell as his co-host and also invites a long list of NFL legends for round table discussions. Spinner will join the table from time to time to give an outsiders point of view as he sees the NFL and American football and he also gives the show some comical comments at time as only an Australian can. Rumor has it that he is in a "Shirt Envy" competition with Maverick Mitchell already.

The show airs in Jacksonville on Comcast cable channel 7, Thursday nights from 6 - 7pm and again on Sunday mornings from 9 -10am.
