Tom has been a huge supporter of Rugby League and the Jacksonville Axemen since the very start and Spinner Howland is a regular guest on his morning sports radio show on 930 The Fox. This past weekend he attended the latest Rugby League International with his production crew and the segment will air on Comcast Cable Channel 7 at 6pm this Thursday.

The Axemen are flattered that a segment about the event is being added to Tom's American Football based TV show and feel that this may be the start of Rugby League being considered as the "other football" that people can come and enjoy during the summer here in Jacksonville.

Tom films his "uncensored" show at the Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach on Mondays from 4pm until 8pm that is open to the public to attend. This "on location" segment that was filmed at Hodges Stadium at UNF not only shows the live action that was on hand but also the diversity of sports and venues that are available here in the Jacksonville area.
