With so much on offer to entertain fans that started with a massive push to distribute over five thousand "2 for 1" coupons over the last two weeks and ended with Outback Steakhouse presenting a day that saw free coupons and former Jaguar players Mike Hollis and Eugene Chung headlining the game day highlights, the Jacksonville Axemen saw almost 2000 fans through the gate.

The on field excitement was also as good as it could get with both teams playing a lot of intensity but it was the Axemen who got on the board first and never looked back. The massive tackles sent shock-waves all the way up into the stadium that was returned with applause from the Axemen faithful.

By the end of the day the Axemen had provided one of their best on-field performances in front of a record crowd and walked away with a 34 to 8 win and they feel certain that they made a huge step forward in the Jacksonville sporting arena at the same time.
