Josh Cock Returns to the Axemen for 2016 Season
The Axemen are ecstatic to announce the return of Aussie Import player Josh Cock for the 2016 season! Fans will remember him as a key player on our 2013 and 2014 Axemen squads, helping lead the team to 2 National Championship game appearances.
“Cocko is one of the toughest players we have ever had play for the team,” said Drew Slover co-owner and General Manager of the Axemen. “He is an invaluable asset so of course we are really excited to have him come back and can’t wait to have him join the team.”
Josh will arrive next week to join the Axemen who have been putting in a lot of hard work in preparation for the first regular season game against Atlanta on June 11th.
“Although it was a tough decision to make this time around I’m quite excited to get over to Jacksonville for another season,” said Josh. “Seeing the hard work the team has been doing in the lead up to this season makes it easier knowing we’ll be strong contenders again. I’m eager to join the team and play alongside new captain/coach Ben Nicoll who I know will have us playing some exciting footy. Also can’t wait to see the Axemen fans who make the game what it is.”
