At only 18 years of age and in his first season of Rugby League, Brenden Beedle stood above any other man on the field on the weekend and was voted the MVP against the Washington DC Slayers. Brenden joined the Axeman in 2012 after a luxurious junior football career as a line backer and looks to be enjoying the speed and physical challenge rugby league offers.
The game against the Slayers was undoubtedly the toughest opposition the Axeman have faced in 2012 and Beedle was influential througout the game. Playing in the backrow and weighing 210 pounds Beedle finished the game with 2 tries and 38 tackles, by far the highest workrate of any player on the day.
